i read a comment below where you said this was colored pencil, i was so happy to hear that, that's awesome! i think you do a great job with cp and wonder if you will be doing any more, yer good at it. i like the way you did the colors and designs, using alot of recognizable, earthy texture works well, with a little surrealistic twist to it. good job!

thank you thank you! you are definitely still the master of the CP :) I probably will be doing more with it in the future...it would be interesting to see what happens since this piece is a few years old... you've truly started me on a new path though so thank you :) With this i was definitely calling upon natural textures and shapes but trying to make them surreal...... when I leave photo-realism behind thats where my mind and my soul wander off to. :) but after seeing your work I want to let go even further...its such freedom and such a challenge for the mind to do something beautiful with that freedom...

Amazing piece. The colors in this caught my attention right away.. I love how you were able to use pretty much every color of the rainbow in this and still make it work. The detail is amazing. So many colors, so many textures, but it WORKS! Good job.
